Cottage #1 is closest to the inn and closest to steps leading down to the beach. It has an open view of Superior to the right with a large spruce tree to the left. About 80ft from the beach, only walking paths, natural vegetation, and rocks separate you from the water. In front of the cottage is a fire circle and patio furniture. The lakeside bedroom features a queen bed, a romantic gas stove, and a lakeside patio door. The living room has a decorative gas stove and a picture window to the lake. It is furnished with a plush futon, two wingback chairs, and a dinette set. The roadside of the cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a shower, and a bedroom with a full bed. This cottage sleeps up to six people. (Two on the futon.)
